Terms and Conditions

Crazy Horse Tours offers a tour on the following terms and conditions:

Reservations, Deposits and Payment: To reserve your space on the tour, complete the Registration Form and payment process. (Yes, we do take checks. Just call us and we’ll get you signed up over the phone if paying by check). A 50% deposit of the total cost is due to reserve your spot on the tour. Your deposit is credited against the total tour cost. Final payment must be made and clear 60 days prior to first scheduled day of the tour. Refunds are available up to 60 days out, but there will be a $150 cancellation fee.

Written Notice for Cancellation: All reservations, cancellations, and changes and arrangements must be made in writing. We are not obligated to act on information given via telephone until written notice has been received. Email shall be accepted as written notice. Cancellations received 60 days or more before the start of the trip will be charged a $150 cancellation fee. Tours that have been paid in full that cancel less than 60 days from start of tour will only receive half of their payment. NOTE: Crazy Horse Tours is not responsible for any costs incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellations, or sickness. Crazy Horse Tours is not responsible for penalties incurred from the purchase of nonrefundable airline tickets. Should events beyond the control of Crazy Horse Tours necessitate the cancellation of the program during the tour, a full refund of land costs will be calculated based on the cost of services used up to the time of the group’s return.

Airfare: Airfare is not provided. Tour guest is required to pay and make own arrangements to get to Billings, MT, for start of tour. Please note that tour ends in Rapid City, SD, but transportation via the tour bus is available back to Billings, MT, on July 29th.

Luggage Allowances and Security: Each tour guest is allowed on tour bus only 1 suitcase (less than 45lbs and 1 backpack sized carry-on.

Tour Participants: We reserve the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant or to expel from the tour any person for any reason who, in our opinion, is not compatible with the interest of the group. Please note that all of our tour coaches are non-smoking.

Physicality: Participants are solely responsible for being in sufficiently good health to undertake any tour and for taking all appropriate medical precautions. If you travel with us, we must know at the time of your registration of any disability, handicap, health or dietary restriction, or any condition that may interfere with or limit your tour participation. .


Crazy Horse Tours acts only as an agent for the respective suppliers by making arrangements for transportation, accommodations, other services, and facilities. Crazy Horse Tours shall not be held liable for personal injury, death, property damage or accident, delay or irregularity arising out of the act, negligence, or omission of any direct carrier, hotel or travel service or other person rendering any of the services being offered in connection with the tours. Crazy Horse Tours reserves the right, without penalty, to make changes in the published itinerary whenever in their judgment, conditions warrant, or if they deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of tour participants. Crazy Horse Tours also reserves the right to withdraw the tour announced, decline to accept any person as a participant on a tour, or to require any participant to withdraw from the tour at any time, when such action is determined by tour staff to be in the best interests of the health, safety or general welfare of the tour group or the individual participant. In such a case, a refund equal to the actual cost of the unused services is the limit of Crazy Horse Tours responsibility. Crazy Horse Tours accepts no liability for the purchase of non-refundable airline tickets to the tour departure city and return city. Baggage and personal effects are at all times the sole responsibility of the participant. Dates, schedules, program details, and costs, although provided in good faith, are subject to change and revision.


The undersigned has read carefully the Responsibility Statement and Liability Disclaimer set forth above, the schedule of activities for this tour, as well as the terms and conditions of application and participation as set forth in the tour brochure, and recognizes and accepts any risk associated with the tour and the conditions, including the refund policy, set forth in the tour brochure. The undersigned further acknowledges that there are many risks and uncertainties inherent in any travel tour, including but not limited to the hazards of various modes of transportation, forces of nature, acts or omissions of foreign governments, terrorism, war or insurrection, theft, illness, and damage to person or property due to the negligent acts or omissions of tour staff or others. In consideration of, and as part payment for, the right to participate in the tour, the undersigned, on behalf of himself, his dependents, heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, agrees to release Crazy Horse Tours from liability for personal injury, death, property damage or loss suffered by any person in connection with this tour, even if caused by the negligence (but not the reckless, willful, or fraudulent conduct) of tour staff or other related persons or entities. In addition, by registering for this tour, the applicant certifies that he is mentally and physically capable of full participation in this tour.
